about
Off Worque is a nonprofit social club for creatives and industry professionals who are ready to decenter work from their identity.
We believe your job is what you do, not who you are.
Through thoughtfully curated events, interactive workshops, and community gatherings, we create intentional spaces to unplug, explore new hobbies, and reconnect with the parts of yourself that exist beyond your inbox. Whether it’s a game night, a journaling circle, or a candid conversation about burnout, Off Worque is where ambitious people come to rest, reflect, and build real connection.
We’re not just talking about work/life balance. We’re practicing it.
Our OOO Fund furthers this mission by providing financial support and resources that help professionals truly step away when they need to. Rest should not be a luxury. Time off should not feel impossible. And community care should be tangible, not theoretical.
At Off Worque, we’re building a culture where unplugging is powerful, hobbies are prioritized, and well-being is non-negotiable.
Meet us when you’re off worque.
Meet Our Founder
Cristina Jerome is the Founder and Executive Director of Off Worque, where she leads programming, partnerships, and the overall vision of the organization. As a wellness advocate and community builder, she designs experiences that help professionals decenter work, prioritize mental well-being, and reconnect with life beyond their job titles.
After a decade in social media marketing across beauty, music, TV and film, and spirits, Cristina experienced firsthand the burnout that comes from constant output and high-performance culture. A week of PTO spent trying new hobbies, from tennis to pottery to run clubs, reminded her that rest and joy are not rewards. They are requirements.
She left corporate life to build Off Worque as a space where ambitious people can unplug, explore, and feel supported in creating sustainable balance. Through events, workshops, and the OOO Fund, Cristina now helps others do what she once had to learn the hard way: take their time off seriously.
Everyone deserves a day Off Worque.
